1991年7月毕业于复旦大学生物工程系遗传与遗传工程专业。1997年7月毕业于中科院上海生物化学研究所分子生物学专业，期间1994年7月至1997年4月赴德国马克斯普朗克生物化学研究所攻读联合培养博士，获得博士学位。1997年12月至1999年12月在美国Roswell Park癌症研究中心作博士后研究。2000年1月至2000年12月任德国Mondogen生物技术公司项目研究员。2001年1月至2007年8月中科院上海生命科学研究院生物化学与细胞生物学研究所副研究员、研究员、博士生导师。2007年9月至今复旦大学生物医学研究院、教育部与卫生部医学分子病毒学重点实验室研究员，博士生导师。
主要研究领域为肝炎病毒分子生物学和肝细胞功能基因组。近五年里，作为项目负责人承担了863项目、自然科学基金面上项目和上海市科委“启明星”项目，“启明星跟踪”项目，作为子课题负责人承担或学术骨干参加了973项目和上海市科委重大项目。已发表SCI学术论文30篇，申请专利4项（其中1项PCT专利），获授权专利2项。
